Nicole is a Arts Facilitator with 25 years of experience in community events. She works as a casual arts teacher in Sydney's inner west specialising in after school care for young children and art classes for senior citizens.

She is a practicing artist with a broad based practice utilising drawing/collage, painting, craft, and photography, specialising in printmaking in which she has a Masters Degree from COFA.

She finds that art gives people a chance to explore their dreams, and the sense of accomplishment achieved though the making of art fulfills these dreams.

Nicole has worked for Ikara since mid 2011. Events she has participated in include Mounties Chinese Festival, Carols on Norton and  the Wollongong Australia Day Lantern Parade.

Stacy is a British born Artist and Teacher who has recently moved to Australia and is a practicing Artist on the south coast of NSW.  She works as a casual High School Teacher part-time and as an Artist from home in her coastal studio in Kiama.  Stacy studied Ceramics and Glass at University and has several years of experience working with a variety of 3D materials including cardboard & clay.  She is currently a Resident Artist at a newly opened gallery in Gerringong and demonstrates a broad skill-base in her mixed media Artwork, focusing on texture, line, pattern and colour.  Stacy really enjoys exploring and experimenting with unconventional techniques and materials and feels she is constantly learning and challenging her creativity with every Artwork.

Stacy joined Ikara last year after volunteering at the 2018 KISS ARTS Festival in Kiama.  She was involved with creating one of the large-scale lanterns for the street parade and clearly demonstrated her 3D construction skills.  She has since been involved with an Australia day Lantern workshop in Wollongong and is also working in local schools to facilitate teachers with Lantern making skills.
