Although large scale pubic event are still banned, workshops and art classes are permissible under controlled conditions.


IKARA Celebratory Events is a registered COVID Safe Business. We can advise and deliver on conducting workshops that conform to current NSW Health guidelines.



Please do not come if you are unwell or have any COVID symptoms such as, experienced a fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath. Have visited an identified COVID hot spot in the past 2 weeks or have been in contact with some who has COVID..

*We can offer full refunds or credit vouchers for individual sessions for those who are unable to attend

All participants must pre-book, as numbers are limited.  It is not possible to book on the day.

You will need to complete and sign a COVID decorations that states to the best of your knowledge, use do not have, fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath. Have not visited an identified COVID Hot Spot in the past 2 weeks or have been in contact with some who has COVID.

All participants will be tested for a temperature on arrival and before signing in

Hand sanitiser should be used before filling out paperwork. Please ensure to use a fresh pen and place it into the USED Pen container when done.

Please also take a disposable face mask be used if coming in close contact (no closer than 1.5m) to the tutor or other participants during the course of the workshop.

On entering the space, please go to your assigned workstation (this will be issued to you when signing in).

The room layout has been arranged to best support social distancing (4 square meter rule). Please maintain social distancing at all times while attending, included breaks.

One workstation is assigned per participant unless you are from the same household.

During breaks, please maintain social distancing and as requested use only your own cutlery, plates and cups

Tutors will, where possible, teach the class from the front of the room

Tutors will wear a face covering when in close proximity to participants

Where individual support or advice is required, they will maintain social distancing.

We are working hard to make sure our workshops are as safe and welcoming as possible and thank you for your cooperation during these difficult times.

*All tutors, participants and sub-contractors are required to sign a register or attendance sheet, which may be kept for a period of at least 28 days, for the purpose of tracing COVID infections.
